ALUMNA LAUREN FAGAN WILL MAKE HER DEBUT WITH THE WELSH NATIONAL OPERA, IT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED.
The Welsh National Opera has announced it’s 2016/17, and with that the news that alumna Lauren Fagan will make her principal role debut.
Lauren will perform the role of Musetta in Puccini’s La boheme in the spring of 2017. A Jette Parker Young Artist at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, for the past two years, Lauren has seen much recent success including a rare opportunity to perform for Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Upon her recent and brief return to Australia, Lauren performed a recital with fellow Melba alum and Jette Parker Young Artist, Samuel Dale Johnson (baritone), accompanied by Melba Artistic Advisor, Sharolyn Kimmorley AM.
